Customized special coatings

The IST METZ group has expanded further with its wholly-owned subsidiary, S1 Optics GmbH. This company specialises in developing customised coating solutions, which are mainly used in conjunction with optical components. Optimised possibilities for wavelength-dependent reflection coating, anti-reflection coating and screening will be created for users from a wide variety of industries. For example, a coating system has already been developed for UV cold mirror reflector technology and many UV reflectors have been manufactured for UV curing for IST METZ. The S1 Optics range also has a service package, which includes advice, coating development and sample coating as well as extensive technical processes such as cleaning, coating, testing, machining, labelling, documenting and delivering of work pieces.read more...

Expanded coating possibilities

Since 01.08.2005 S1 Optics has had additional and larger coating and cleaning systems at its disposal. Consequently all process steps, which are necessary for a high-value coating, can now be implemented for parts up to a length of 1200 mm.
