UV-Cold mirror reflectors on glass and metall

Cold Mirrors are characterised by their highly selective reflexion of UV wavelengths (UV: 200-480nm -C, UV-B, UV-A). The cold mirror coating systems on aluminium profiles have an additional layer which absorbs IR energy (heat).

The new cold mirror technology offers the combined benefits of the well-established aluminium coated reflectors and the cold mirror reflectors on glass. The UV energy is reflected and the IR energy is transmitted into a highly heat-absorbent layer. This layer removes the heat very quickly and efficiently via the water-cooled aluminium profile.
