Beam splitter

Beam splitter coatings are intended for an angle of incident of 0° or 45° and split the incident light of a certain wavelength or a wavelength range into a reflected and a transmitted part. A normal beam splitter coating splits the incident light at the ratio of 50%R/50%T or 30%R/70%T.

The use of dielectric and thus absorption-free coatings allows the production of beam splitter with any splitter ratio.
