Services

FROM PROCUREMENT TO DISPATCH OF THE SUBSTRATE

Coating services mean more to us than simply coating your product professionally and delivering it to you quickly and reliably. Our services start long before your order and come to an end only when the product has been delivered to you and you are happy with it. As a service-focussed supplier, we want to provide numerous added-value features to make working and dealing with the products you need as simple as possible - whether through technical support, metrological testing or the provision of further processing steps to complete your product.

Our range of services

WELL-ADVISED AT ALL TIMES

Purchasing the substrate

We purchase the substrates you want in line with your individual requirements.

Cleaning

Prior to coating the substrates, we use our qualified cleaning processes to remove contamination arising from the production process or from storage. This rules out optical faults due to particles, as well as adhesion strength issues due to contamination.

Coating

We use the PVD process to apply metal and dielectric layers to a variety of substrates such as aluminium, stainless steel, float glass, Duran® and quartz glass. This produces fully-adherent, mechanically strong layers which are stable in the long term and

Testing

The properties (optical, mechanical etc.) are measured and recorded in line with customer requirements. These include among other things: degree of transmission, degree of reflection, colour value. We provide testing of mechanical properties such as adhes

Mechanical processing

We offer processing steps for the optical components both before and after coating (production also by tool-based methods, cutting/mechanical processing, polishing etc.).

Marking

The components can be labelled, marked or coded to suit the customer by means of laser engraving or diamond cutting.

Documentation

If required, documents can be created for batches or individual pieces and enclosed with the delivery.

Delivery

Depending on customer requirements the finished components can be packed, delivered or prepared for further processing.
